Interscope Records is extending the celebration of its 30th anniversary. In partnership with Ntwrk, the storied label has taken a fresh look at its GRAMMY-nominated series, Interscope Reimagined. Critically-acclaimed artists like Cecily Brown, Julie Curtiss, Damien Hirst, Rashid Johnson and others have created original works of art inspired by albums and songs from Interscope artists like Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, 6LACK, Tupac, Snoop Dogg and N.E.R.D. Fans can grab pieces of the exclusive collection for $100 via NTWRK beginning May 11 and 100% of net profits will benefit Iovine and Young Academy in Los Angeles.
Interscope Records’ collaboration with NTWRK is the latest celebration of the company’s 30th anniversary. Last January, the label launched the “Artists Inspired by Music: Interscope Reimagined” exhibition at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Working with artists like the aforementioned Cecily Brown and Julie Curtiss, the label shared unique artwork inspired by many of its iconic artists, including Tupac, Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar.
“Interscope’s original mission was to find the most profound artists, empower their creativity and watch what happens,” Interscope Records Co-Founder Jimmy Iovine said.
“For the 30th, we wanted to continue that vision by assembling the most admired visual artists and empower them with that same creative license to honor the musical artists we have worked with over three decades.”
Entering the next 30 years of Interscope Records, the label plans to continue working with artists looking to take their art around the world. The next generation of Interscope stars includes Billie Eilish, Ella Mai and GloRilla to name a few.
