‘Bel-Air’ Star Olly Sholotan Pens Thank You Letter To Fans Following Season Two Finale

“Episode 10 was a gift: an incredible emotional challenge, but also one of my favorite episodes to film,” Bel-Air star Olly Sholotan wrote. (Peacock)

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from season two of Bel-Air.

And that’s a wrap! Morgan Cooper and the folks at Peacock have wrapped up season two of Bel-Air. Without spoiling too much, the second chapter of the drama featured a number of highs and lows as Jazz and Hilary figured out their relationship, Will worked through his issues with Uncle Phil and Geoffrey went looking for his son. Not to mention, Ashley matured in a major way while Aunt Viv found direction in her career. In the end, one man stole the show in the end. Carlton, played by Olly Sholotan, took center stage as he finally opened up about his struggles with substance abuse in front of his friends and family. After a dramatic season finale, Sholotan penned an open letter to the show’s biggest supporters.

“We made it to the end of another season. Episode 10 was a gift: an Incredible Emotional Challenge, but also one of my favorite episodes to film. Getting to play this version of Calton is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It’s made me a more caring, compassionate and understanding person; words can’t describe what it means to me. Thanks for going on this journey with our lil’ homie Carlton. I can’t wait to piss y’all off some more next season,” he wrote.

“If you resonate with any of his struggles, I just want to take a second to let you know that you’re loved and help is always available; just a phone call away. National Substance Abuse Hotline: 1-800-662-4357.”

Peacock has already handed Sholotan and his castmates a third-season renewal. Until next year, fans will have to wait and see what the summer before senior year is like for Carlton and the crew. In the meantime, viewers can get to know the actors behind the characters. Sholotan, Simone Joy Jones and Coco Jones have been putting out music within the last year and Jabari Banks has landed a role in the Bad Genius remake.
