The Los Angeles Rams are releasing linebacker Bobby Wagner after the two sides mutually agreed to part ways. Wagner signed last offseason with the Rams on a five-year deal worth $50 million. Now he is entering the free agent class after playing with the team for just one season. Wagner expressed an interest in playing for a winning team while the Los Angeles Rams are in desperate need of cap space entering the offseason. Wagner now enters free agency and will be a big name that several teams will speak to if given the chance.

Once he officially enters free agency there will be several teams interested in the All-Pro linebacker who is still a solid performer on the field. Wagner was one of the better linebackers in the 2010s with the Seattle Seahawks, but has still been a good starter later in his career. The length and amount of the deal will be debated, but several NFL Playoff contenders will want to sign the linebacker to a deal this offseason.

Last season as a member of the Los Angeles Rams, Bobby Wagner recorded 81 solo tackles, 140 total tackles, six sacks, five passes defended, and two interceptions that he returned for 13 yards. Wagner is likely a future Hall of Fame linebacker, but wants to add a second Super Bowl to his resume before he retires. His next spot will likely factor that in when he signs with a team.
