Indianapolis native George Hill is reportedly headed back to his hometown. Per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Milwaukee Bucks have moved Hill and a second-round pick to the Indiana Pacers. In return, the Pacers will take on Hill’s four million dollar salary.

Both the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks have been active leading up to this afternoon’s trade deadline. Earlier today, the Bucks added Jae Crowder to their roster as part of a three-team deal involving the Nets and Pacers. Through the deal, the Nets picked up five second-round picks while the Pacers added Jordan Nwora and Serge Ibaka to their roster along with two second-round picks. With no roster space to spare, Indiana was forced to waive Goga Bitadze.

The Indiana Pacers may not be done just yet. Tight on roster spots, Indiana may look to waive Hill in the near future. By doing so, the Indianapolis native would be able to join a contender before the playoffs begin. Through 35 games this season, Hill has played 19.1 minutes per game while averaging 5.1 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists per outing.
