Juice WRLD & Marshmello Share ‘Bye Bye’

It’s never easy to say goodbye, but fans of a young generation have grown accustomed to bidding farewell to their favorite acts. Within the last few years, the world of music and beyond has mourned the loss of Pop Smoke, Mac Miller, Nipsey Hussle, King Von, XXXTentacion and PnB Rock among others. Within the long list of artists that have passed away far too soon is Juice Wrld. This year, the Higgins family, his friends and fans around the world will remember the talented act three years after he passed away due to an overdose while traveling from Los Angeles to Chicago.

Juice Wrld may be gone in a physical sense, but his impact on music is still felt today. Records like “Empty” and “Bandit” with NBA Youngboy continue to ring off and his influence can be seen in a number of emerging acts. In addition, melodies and developing tracks from his endless vault of records continue to find their way to streaming services. Tonight, Marshmello shared one of those unreleased tracks.

More than three years ago, Juice WRLD teased a collaboration with Marshmello called “Bye Bye” on Instagram Live. While it was unfinished at the time, it was clear that the Illinois native found a pocket in the trap production as he sang about leaving his ex-girlfriend and moving on. In the process of creating his forthcoming album, Joytime IV, Marshmello revisited the track and put the finishing touches on it.

For Juice WRLD fans around the world, check out “Bye Bye” below.
