The search is done in Minnesota as the Vikings have hired Brown’s executive Kwesi Adofo-Mensah as their new General Manager. According to Cameron Wolfe from NFL Network, the deal is for four years and $12 million.

After the Vikings decided to get a clean slate for next season firing Head Coach Mike Zimmer and General Manager Rick Spielman, they started the process to fill the positions. As of late, Adofo-Mensah was one of the two finalists, alongside Chiefs executive Ryan Poles. The Vikings had meetings scheduled with both candidates for this week but Poles was hired to be the Chicago Bears’ new GM, which left the job ready to Adofo-Mensah.

With economics degrees from Princeton and Stanford, Adofo-Mensah started his career in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers research and development department. In 2020, he was hired by the Browns to be their Vicepresident of Football Operations. Now, he has the chance to be the man in charge of the franchise.

The next step for the Vikings now is to look for their new head coach.
