The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed another defensive stud in former Philadelphia Eagles Vinny Curry. The deal was first reported by ESPN’s Jenna Laine

Vinny Curry was just cut by the Philadelphia Eagles due to cap issues on Friday. His three-year deal includes a base value of $23 million with $11 million in guarantees, according to Ian Rapoport. He has a chance to make up to $27 million.

There was an attempt to keep Curry on by the Eagles but he wouldn’t restructure his contract. In his first full season as a starter, Curry racked up 43 tackles and three sacks this triggered a five million guarantee in his contract that he would have received if he remained in Philadelphia through Sunday.
