Golden State Warriors guard Nick Young is expected to sit out of the team’s game against Dallas on Thursday due to a concussion, but the team has not yet made an official announcement on his status.

Young sustained the concussion last game against Portland and left the contest early. He issued a detailed statement following the game — which was followed by a pair of hilarious replies by teammate Andre Iguodala.

Young entered the NBA’s concussion protocol and didn’t participate in the team’s practice Wednesday. He spent time on the sideline riding a bike and doing light exercises.

Young, who’s in his 11th NBA season, has provided solid bench production for the Warriors in 27 games. The team is listing his status as day-to-day moving forward.

Young is averaging 6.8 points on 41 percent shooting from 3-point range this season. Along with him, Draymond Green is expected to miss Thursday’s TNT contest against Dallas, as well.

Young latched on with the Warriors in free agency this past summer, holding hopes he can be a part of a championship squad in June. He has played ten NBA seasons with the Wizards, Sixers, Clippers and Lakers, but has not won a championship in his career.
