Get Out Leads 2017 Gotham Awards Nominees

The IFP Gotham Independent Film Awards are kicking things off with their complete list of nominees, and Jordan Peele’s Get Out is in the lead with four nominations, including Best Feature.

Following the conclusion of Key and Peele, Jordan took an unexpected turn into horror. The film was made with a budget of $4.5 million budget but brought in a domestic box office gross of $175 million, while also earning a 99 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Now, with four Gotham Awards nominations (including Best Feature, Breakthrough Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Actor), Get Out is proving its place among the best releases of 2017.
