Lyor Cohen’s Management Company Suing Travis Scott

More money, more problems. That age-old saying rings true, all the way in 2017. For Travis Scott, he’s the latest artist that is facing some legal woes and the people targeting his cash is Lyor Cohen’s management company, LCAR Management.

Over the course of the past year and more, we’ve seen Travis Scott take his career to the next level and go on to become on of Hip Hop’s most in-demand artists of the moment. Releasing his latest project, Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, just last year, TMZ is reporting that Lyor’s LCAR Management is looking to collect some major cash from Travis Scott as they are suing him for allegedly not upholding his end of a 3 year contract, according to TMZ.

Travis’ old pals at LCAR Management say the rapper signed a 3-year contract in Oct. 2014 which guarantees them 15% of everything he makes in entertainment. In docs, obtained by TMZ, they say that should’ve earned them at least $2 million by now.

While opinions between the two camps may differ when it comes down to who exactly did what and if the rightful amount was paid, one thing that can be guaranteed is that Travis’s light isn’t dimming down any time soon as he continues to flourish in many aspects of his career.
