Registration is now open for the next Virtual Doll Convention, themed around the holiday season. VDC: Christmas Pageant is December 4th, 5th, and 6th. It is being held virtually in a special Facebook Group. 100% of the proceeds are being donated to the Children’s Hospital Colorado, Meals on Wheels America, and SafeHouse Denver. Hosted by Rachel Hoffman, the VDC: Christmas Pageant is honoring her mom, Diane Hoffman, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

What To Expect

Programs will include: a Christmas Display Extravaganza featuring spectacular displays and dolls belonging to Diane Hoffman, displayed in her doll shop Turn of the Century Antiques, a look at miniature Christmas houses with Colorado Artisan Stan Gregg, an antiques shopping excursion with Eron Johnson Antiques and virtual visits to the Blossoms of Light at Denver Botanic Gardens and the Georgetown Colorado Christmas Market, among other programs set in a life size gingerbread house made especially for the show. There will also be a sales room to round out the event. Like past events, there will be pre-event programs, daily holiday souvenir downloads, a printable paper doll and more.

In the past, my mom and I have put together content for these shows, so I can vouch for the quality of the programming that will be available to you at the virtual doll convention! Rachel has put together a fantastically festive event that is sure to brighten up your holiday season. Tickets start at $5.00, but I encourage you to give a little more if you can, since all the proceeds are being donated to some great organizations. If you don’t have a Facebook account, don’t fear. You can still participate via private YouTube links sent directly to you.
