Today, my mom and I ventured out to buy some items from the Barbie Throwback Tour Truck. While in line, a fellow collector mentioned ordering something from a Korean brand called ‘Chuu’ that had done a collaboration with Barbie. It inspired this post, which is all about Barbie collaborations you may not know about!
Chuu x Barbie
I don’t know much about Korean clothing brand Chuu, to be honest, so as far as quality goes, I can’t speak on that. The website looks trustworthy, though, from my perspective, so I thought I’d share this with you, in case you need to spruce up your Barbie looks for your next doll show or club meeting! Here’s a few of the looks found in this Barbie collaboration. They have put their focus on baggy, oversized pieces, plus some sleepwear sets. It’s important to remember to look at the size chart before ordering, as these are sewn to Asian sizing.
Stitch Shoppe x Barbie
There are a few other Barbie collaborations that are worth mentioning, too. Loungfly’s Stitch Shoppe launched a Barbie line that includes some super cute pieces! They offer a few dresses, but the standout pieces are the bags!
Hot Topic x Barbie
While Hot Topic is one of my favorite stores, I’ve never thought to look up Barbie. As it turns out, they have a ton of fun Barbie merchandise that is worth a second look! Here’s a look at a few items I like. You might like them, too!
What do you think of the Barbie collaborations seen in this post? Do you plan on picking anything up? What collaboration, of all Mattel’s partnerships, is your favorite? Let us know in the comments!
