Responsibilities

• Work with a roster of our existing artists to support them through the full A&R cycle of a record.
• Manage the recording process, including managing budgets, sourcing collaborators, managing studios, and maintaining detailed records.
• Discovery and signature of new Artists on the label.
• Oversee creative and visual materials for release projects, including photography, design, video and more.
• Inspire internal and external teams around the music of our artists and set the creative tone for our release projects.

Required Skills

• Energy and passion for music and the visual arts.
• An excellent communicator, able to speak confidently to artists, management, staff and partners.
• A collaborative approach, capable of involving people.
• A self-starter, able to manage their time effectively to achieve results.
• Highly creative with the ability to create a vision for a project.
• Experience working with artists is essential.
• Good business acumen and an understanding of registration contracts and basic intellectual property law.
