One of the best places in Winnipeg to hone your skills as a landscape photographer is La Barrière Park. I go there every time I am looking for a frameable photo to take.  La Barrière Park is a 94-hectare park on the banks of the La Salle River, outside the southern edge of Winnipeg. It’s the perfect spot for walks and cross-country skiing. In the summer, amateur baseball games take place there. This image almost looks like a painting, don’t you think?
