Christmas Wonderland returns Singapore with more fun and spectacular this year at the Gardens by the Bay in this festive season. Double up the lively event grounds compared to last year, Christmas Wonderland 2016 will brings you into a magnificent magical forest of Christmas trees, featuring a series of new attractions and activities for you to have an enjoyable and memorable moments with your family or friends in this joyful December.
A fun-filled weekdays and weekends, the Christmas Wonderland event is suitable for all ages. Without further ado, let’s check out the 15 MUST-visit highlights activities at the Christmas Wonderland 2016:
1. Luminarie – Sculptures of Light
The Italian Luminarie by Namaste Europa SA are magnificent sculptures of light handmade by skilled craftsmen using white wood from the south of Italy. This year’s design is based on the 17th and 18th century Baroque architecture.
2. Glass House by Harry's
A two-storey Glass House will feature an immersive dining experience by Harry’s. Diners can enjoy a festive meal while taking in the beautiful sights of the Spalliera Castel del Monte,majestic Supertrees and the Festive Market.
3. Hi-5 Funtastic House
Making its debut in Singapore, little ones can now immerse themselves in the ultimate Hi-5 experience. Fans of the Australian group can look forward to a host of fun activities in three distinct areas within the Hi-5 Funtastic House.
4. Visit the Brilliant Ice Palace
Visitors can look forward to an up-sized Ice Palace with more activities! Key highlights include a 400 sqm Ice Skating rink, an all-new Ice Slide and a 96 sqm Snow Playground (double the size of last year’s).

This Attraction is for all patrons. Patrons of height 0.9m and below must be accompanied by an adult. Both must have a valid ticket to enjoy the Attraction.

7. Ice Skating Rink
This Attraction is for patrons aged 4 and above. Children who are of height 0.9m and below must be accompanied in the Ice Skating Rink by a parent/guardian at all times. The parent/guardian must purchase a separate ticket for entry to the Ice Skating Rink. It cost at S$18.00 per child/adult, for one 45-minute session (includes rental of ice skates).
8. Snow Playground for your lovely kids
Snow Playground – S$16.00 per child, for one 20-minute session (includes rental of snow boots) This Attraction is only for children between 2-12 years of age.
9. Carnival Rides Experience
A memorable experience for little ones and those young at heart! Rides start from $6.
10. Santa Cottage
Get lost in the Magical Forest as you meander your way past more than 100 Christmas trees (up to 4m tall) and look for Santa’s Cottage to meet Santa! Take a photo with him and bring home an exclusive Christmas Wonderland memento from $20.

Featuring the largest Luminarie ever built in Southeast Asia, the Spalliera Castel del Monte is inspired by the 13th century castle in south east Italy - one of Italy’s most striking UNESCO site. At 19.8metre tall and 24metre wide, this year’s Spalliera is the highest ever. Revel in the wonder of ‘snow’ in the tropics with the daily Blizzard Time, set to enthral all ages.
15. Merry Medley floral display at Flower Dome
This year’s festive floral display will showcase well-loved poinsettias, amaryllis and Christmas roses alongside charming Yuletide scenes, while majestic conifer trees fill the air with their woody, evergreen scent.
The Christmas Wonderland will be opening from 2 December 2016 to 1 January 2017, from 3.30pm to 11pm daily. Unlike from the past 2 years, this year there will be an admission fee starting from $4, $6 and $8 into Christmas Wonderland.
