Vada Azeem - Every Which Way Ft. Aidan Sweet
"The only man who can accurately tell his life story is the man who lived it."

Damn I reviewed this post 3 years ago finally publishing. By Anthony Alden

Over the years, I have watched a young man I now consider a friend and colleague resonate with my utmost respect. So when Vada Azeem said he wanted to do a live listening for his upcoming EPMD and was looking for an intimate space, I quickly offered MV Studio.

Vada, in my opinion, is a true musical artist, one who can rap lyrics around his beats with complexity and emotion. Vada has MELLOW SMOOTH lyrics that are clever while keeping it real, engaging, and real-world struggles. His signature style differentiates his flow from other rappers.

Vada grew up struggling, poor, light-skinned black on the Northeast side of Columbus, Ohio; to gain street cred mint, he had to intersect his unique style of hip hop and fashion while gaining the respect of his home boys.

Vada music walks you through a lyrical journey about the darkness that kept him always seeking the light of knowledge.

When living on the edge isn't close enough, do you move forward or back? That struggle defined his childhood and claimed the premature innocence of homey friends incarcerated or 187.

His formula for success! "It means nothing if it's not on my terms."
So painstakingly, one poetic verse at a time Vada stitches his soul around wounded beats so the world can witness.

Unfortunately, hip-hop is still a young man's game, and at 30 Vada realize he must maintain relevance or fade away.
