Art from Director John DeGaetano joins Fine Art America

San Francisco Bay Area, July 31: In a Northern California cafe, stage director John DeGaetano talks through a selection of paintings on canvas, digital art, and photographs that will be posted on the Fine Art America website in the coming months.
Mainly known for his work as an advisor and director musical theatre, the BroadwayWorld Awards nominee is honored to be able to showcase his art on alongside the many extremely talented artists on the site.
“As Artistic and Stage Director of a theatre company in the San Francisco Bay Area for years we provided performers a chance to showcase their talents,” says John DeGaetano. “The organization lost its residency and all of its equipment in the Northern California Fires several years ago. Since then the group considers special projects from time to time… So for now, I’ve turned my on-stage storytelling creative imagination to color stories of science and fiction on canvas.”
The author/director, has always created lighting and visual content for his stage productions throughout the years, including musical productions of Les Misérables and Evita. Now he will highlight some of those color concepts in a new series as he calls it on Instagram @fluidplanetart of acrylic paintings, video clips, etc. and on the FAA site.
