Liverpool close in Salah deal

Liverpool Football club are close to sign Mohamed Salah from Roma on a deal expected to be around 35 million pounds.

It is understood that Salah has agreed personal terms on joining Liverpool after the Egyptian met Jurgen Klopp in person. Although he had agreed personal terms with Liverpool, the merseyside club are yet to cut out deal with Roma who make and asking price of £35m.

Liverpool’s earlier bid of £28m was rejected by Roma earlier and the reds are expected to offer improved bid for Salah who they have targeted earlier before he moved to Premier League rivals Chelsea.

If the deal goes through, it will record Liverpool’s transfer record signing which they paid for Andy Carroll back in 2011.

If he moves to Anfield he will become Liverpool’s second signing of the summer window, following Chelsea’s Dominic Solanke. Solanke is expected to join Liverpool on July 1 , once his contract with Chelsea Football club expires.
