England international Jermain Defoe has agreed to join English Premier League side Bournemouth on a free transfer.
The England striker had a clause that would allow him to leave for nothing if Sunderland would relegate from first tier England football. It is believed that he would earn £65,000-a-week and undergo medical before he would rejoin Bournemouth where he had spent six months on loan earlier on his career.
