Why only Ayushmann Khurrana could play Bollywood's new Dream Girl

 Ayushmann Khurrana tickle our funny bone in the trailer of his upcoming Film Dream Girl. The National Award-winning actor also made us believe that no one else can ace this role, courtesy that never-heard-before voice of Pooja.

If we take a flashback to Ayushmann Khurrana's past then the actor, who made his Bollywood debut in 2012 with Vicky Donor, spent years behind mic prior to entering the film industry. After completing his post-graduation in journalism, he worked as a radio jockey (RJ) in New Delhi.

Hosted programme like Big Chai - Maan Na Maan, Main Tera Ayushmann while with the channel.

Voice modulation was part of his job and Little did he know then that many years later, his skill of imitating different characters for radio listeners would find a place in a Bollywood film (Dream Girl). It so happened that he got to do 25 per cent of his dialogues in Dream Girl in the voice of a woman, and his career background turned out to be a cherry on the cake.



His movies like Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Badhaai Ho, Andhadhun or Article 15, Ayushmann Khurrana has mostly chosen scripts that are unconventional, entertaining and usually have a message. When we take a look at his first film, Vicky Donor. Lately, his choice of films have worked like a charm for the audience and critics, as have they for Ayushmann himself. He is now the winner of the coveted Best Actor National Award for Sriram Raghavan's 2018 film Andhadhun.
