Dibakar Banerjee in disbelief as his latest release garners positive response

Apart from the actors' performances and impeccable storyline, it's Dibakar Banerjee's direction that has been highly praised. It's never easy to make a film of this genre, but Dibakar not only justified the Bollywood film but also made sure that people will connect to this film as well. On the unprecedented success of the film, the director is in utter disbelief about all the positive responses and critical acclaim that his film has received.

The director mentioned that making LSD 2 has been an exhausting journey as he was supposed to finish the film in a tight deadline. He stated that after such a difficult journey as a filmmaker, if your film gets highly praised not only by film critics but also from the audience, it's quite a gratifying feeling. He also admitted that he wasn't expecting such a humongous response due to the disturbing nature of the film. However, the director asserts that the film is quite fun to watch, and probably that's what's working in favour of the film.
