17 Years of Aarya: A qurantined Allu Arjun celebrates the movie with a heartfelt post; says, 'It changed my course as an actor'

Today marks the 17-years of the release of Allu Arjun starrer Aarya. The romantic-action-comedy film, Arya was directed by Sukumar and produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Back when it released in 2004, it garnered a lot of positive response from the masses and the critics alike. And today, as the film completes 17 years of its release, the Ala Vaikunthapurramulo actor penned a heartfelt note, thanking the director, team and the masses for showering so much love on Aarya. Allu Arjun wrote, "This movie changed the lives of soo many people. It changed my course as an actor, Sukumar garu's life as a director. DIL Raju garu's life as a producer. DSP's life as a musician, Rathnavelu garu as a DOP Bunny Vasu as Distributor then and many, many more Lives. We all the soo thankful to this one magic that came into our lives called ARYA. We all will always cherish this as our greatest milestone in our lives. Thank You! Gratitude forever."

In another post, Allu Arjun wrote, "It's 17 years of Aarya today. It is the single most life-changing experience of my life. It's still the greatest miracle of my life. Aarya has also been dubbed in Hindi and is one of the most-loved films starring Allu Arjun. Talking about Aarya, the film also starred Anuradha Mehta, Siva Balaji, Rajan P Dev, Subbaraju, Sunil, Veun Madhav, Abhinayasri, JV Ramana Murthi to name a few. Here's a little trivia about Allu Arjun's film: reportedly, Sukumar finalized the Duvvada Jagannadham actor after considering actors such as Ravi Teja, Prabhas, and Nithiin. A spiritual sequel was released in 2009 which starred Kajal Aggarwal, alongside Navdeep, Brahmanandam, Shraddha Das, Mukesh Rishi, Sayaji Shinde, Ajay to name a few.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Allu Arjun will be next seen in Pushpa, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. Allu Arjun is in quarantine as he tested positive a couple of weeks ago. He is recovering well at home.
