Bollywood and TV actress Upasana Singh, who garnered nationwide fame for portraying the character of Bua in Comdey Nights with Kapil, dismissed the rumours of falling out with the ace comedian. The actress said that Kapil Sharma is still her favourite and will enjoy working with him again. Talking to TOI, Upasna said, "I liked my character of bua (in 'Comedy Nights With Kapil'), my dialogues became really popular. There have been rumours ki humari dushmani chal rahi hai aur hum log milte nahi hai, but Kapil is still my favourite. And whenever Kapil feels that I am suitable for a role on his show, I will work with him."

Talking about the cast members of the Kapil's show, she added, "I like all the actors from the show. They are like my family, and I will definitely enjoy working with them." The actress will be next seen in Gangs of Filmistan, which also has actors like Sunil Grover, Sanket Bhosle and others. Talking about coming back on sets after lockdown, Upasna asserted, "I have been working since the age of six and have been in front of the camera since so many years. So when the lockdown happened, I felt as if meri zindagi ruk gayi hai. When I faced the camera again, recently, it was one of the best days of my life. Aisa laga zindagi laut aayi hai. Though it was a long day of shoot, but I did not feel tired at all."

Talking about Kapil, Upasana earlier told about Kapil Sharma to Mumbai Mirror and said, "Kapil has been mentally disturbed for a while now and has other health issues. In such a condition people make mistakes. I feel bad for him, I have worked closely with both Preeti and him and have never heard him abuse anyone. If Kapil was such a bad person would the stars come on his show? He always behaves respectfully with me so I'm shocked by the language in the (phone) recording. Yes, he drinks but that isn't an excuse for such behaviour."
