The coronavirus pandemic is proving to be the biggest crisis for the globe in a long time. India is doing its best to reach out to the needy, especially the migrant worker population through financial aid and ration. However, it is animals who are getting neglected. While Pets get care and love from their owners, the strays are going hungry. Due to social distancing, many people cannot come out to feed them and also people are avoiding animals due to rumours of COVID-19 coming from pets. Celebs are telling fans to be kinder to animals in this period. We have seen videos of singer Mohit Chauhan feeding stray dogs. TV personality Balraj Syal also fed them.
Now, Farah Khan has put up a video on Twitter where we can see her daughter, Anya making sketches. She said that her daughter raised Rs 70K in five days by sketching pictures of pets. It seems she charges a thousand per sketch and all the funds are going for the welfare of strays. We can see that Anya is very good at sketching. The young lady's initiative is applause-worthy and she is surely warming hearts. Celebs also appreciated Anya. Check out the tweets in her support...

Some days back, John Abraham brought to the notice of the BMC that some of their posters on COVID-19 were misleading. He said that it does not spread via animals and such rumours led to owners abandoning their pets. He said it was unfair. Taking cognizance of his complaint, they removed the misleading posters from the city.
