This Friday, Bollywood has two offerings for the audience in the form of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and Bhoot: Part One. While the first one is a light-hearted entertainer, which throws light on homosexuality and delivers the message to accept it, the latter is a horror-thriller. Well, there is a place for both the films to score well at the box-office, but we can't deny the fact that they have the same target audience, which are multiplexes from the metro cities. We are hoping that both, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and Bhoot will take a fair start at the box office but the former one will have a slight edge over the latter one. So, let's check out the opening day figures and other aspects of these films.

Starting with Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, the trailer of this comedy family entertainer has worked big time among the audience. And we can't forget to mention the power of its lead star Ayushmann Khurrana, who has the potential to attract a huge number of footfalls in the cinema halls. The actor has delivered seven consecutive hits with Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, AndhaDhun, Badhaai Ho, Article 15, Dream Girl and Bala, and we can definitely expect Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan to be his eighth one. Though the biggest obstacle with this film compared to Ayushmann's previous ventures is that it doesn't have a Pan India appeal and there are high chances that it gets a minimal response from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities due to its story and plot. But still, it has all the possibilities to get a double-digit opening of around Rs 10-11 crore on its first day and we might see a huge growth once the word of mouth comes into play.

Coming to Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Bhoot, the horror thriller itself is a niche genre in the country and that limits its audience. All we can expect from the film is to have a gripping and horrifying content, which will impress all the lovers of this genre. Since Vicky Kaushal has come out of the humongous success of Uri: The Surgical Strike, we hope like the military action film, even Bhoot surprises us at the box office. As per our predictions, the film should open in the range of around Rs 6-7 crore and show substantial growth over the weekend.
