Death of popular comic actor Venu Madhav

Ace comedian, Venu Madhav, who worked with many superstars like Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Prabhas, Jr NTR, Allu Arjun and others passed away a few days back due to kidney ailment. "He was discharged on Sunday, but his family brought him back on Tuesday afternoon after his condition worsened. He was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit and was put on life support. He died around 12.20 on Wednesday," IANS quoted a source as saying. Many South celebs like Varun Tej and Surender Reddy expressed their grief on social media.

After enjoying a humongous success of Kaappaan, Suriya recently wrapped up the shooting of Sudha Kongara's Soorarai Pottru. It is the first time collaboration of Suriya and Sudha Kongara. It was being speculated that Soorarai Pottru is a biopic on Captain GR Gopinath who found Air Deccan. However, Suriya clarified that the film is not a biopic on him but is only inspired by few events in his life. Tamil and Malayalam actress Aparna Balamurali has been signed on to play the leading lady in Soorarai Pottru. It is co-produced by Guneet Monga, who is known for bankrolling films like The Lunchbox, Masaan and Gangs of Wasseypur. Soorarai Pottru also features Aparna Balamurali and Mohan Babu in key roles.
