Karan Johar turned host last Saturday for a Bollywood bash and captured a video featuring Deepika Padukone, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Zoya Akhtar, Vicky Kaushal, Ayan Mukerji, Natasha Dalal and Ranbir Kapoor enjoying the party. However, little did the filmmaker know that this clip will land him and his Bollywood pals in trouble with an MLA, who accused them of consuming drugs at the party.
#UDTABollywood - Fiction Vs Reality
Watch how the high and mighty of Bollywood proudly flaunt their drugged state!!
I raise my voice against #DrugAbuse by these stars. RT if you too feel disgusted @shahidkapoor @deepikapadukone @arjunk26 @Varun_dvn @karanjohar @vickykaushal09 pic.twitter.com/aBiRxwgQx9

MLA Majinder Sirsa criticised the video and tweeted, "#UDTABollywood - Fiction Vs Reality Watch how the high and mighty of Bollywood proudly flaunt their drugged state!! I raise my voice against #DrugAbuse by these stars. RT if you too feel disgusted @shahidkapoor @deepikapadukone @arjunk26 @Varun_dvn @karanjohar vickykaushal09." The same politician has now written to the Commissioner of Police, demanding that an FIR be filed against the Bollywood celebrities for violation of anti-drug laws. In his letter, Mla Majinder Sirsa has stated, "A powderlike substance was visible in the video and it was a 'drug party' which indicates every likelihood that drugs have been brought, used and consumed in the said party."
I have requested @CPMumbaiPolice to register FIR against the Bollywood Stars in the video flaunting their drug party...under The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985

Earlier, politician Milind Deora had defended the actors and revealed that his wife too was present at the party and that no one was in a 'drugged state'. He stated, "My wife was also present that evening (and is in the video). Nobody was in a drugged state so stop spreading lies & defaming people you don't know! I hope you will show the courage to tender an unconditional apology."
