Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay who is popular for his cooking style and skills has sparked outrage on social media. The fact that he not only shot a goat for his National Geographic TV show, Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted but also cooking it live on the show has enraged many and since then people are slamming him and criticising his actions. Enraged animal lovers took to social media to criticise the celebrated chef for his inconsiderate and barbarous stunt on TV.

Gordon's show, Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted follows the chef where he explores 'people, places and flavours that the world has to offer', at least, that's what National Geographic says. The series which commenced in Peru brought the star chef Ramsay to the South Island of New Zealand. There, according to the New Zealand Herald, the chef's aim was to 'discover the secrets of Maori cuisine.'

While in New Zealand, chef Monique Fiso took the front seat and led the way. He introduced him to the edible wild plants and then asked him to kill a mountain goat. It was Mr Ramsay's shooting of the goat that has received a lot of backlashes online. It didn't end there. The goat was then cooked and served with a berry chutney and a salad.
