TV's original Naagin aka Mouni Roy struck gold with Akshay Kumar's Gold as she made her acting debut with the film. And then there was no looking back for the Bong beauty as kept reaching new heights. She was also seen in Yash starrer KGF Chapter 1 in an item number and then in John Abraham's Romeo Akbar Walter in a lead role. And now the actress has more big movies in her kitty like Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt-starrer Brahmastra, Made In China opposite Rajkumar Rao and Bole Chudiyan opposite Nawazuddin Siddqui. Now that is quite a large number of films that Mouni has managed to bag in a short span of time. Of course she has been around on the small screen since the Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi days, so we can't really call her a newbie.

Anyway, so Bole Chudiyan, which marks the directorial debut of Nawazuddin Siddiqui's brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui, will see Nawaz play a hopeless romantic while Mouni will be a bright small town girl who thinks on her feet. And to give us the first glimpse into the world of Bole Chudiyan, Shamas shared these first look posters of his leads and we must say we are rather impressed.

Nawaz looks pensive in the monochrome click, while Mouni peeking from behind the door, her jhumkas attracting all the attention, looks super pretty to say the least. And it's not just us, but even trade analyst Taran Adarsh who has taken notice of these posters. Giving a shout out to Shamas, Taran wrote, "Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mouni Roy in #BoleChudiyan... Marks the directorial debut of Shamas Nawab Siddiqui, brother of Nawazuddin Siddiqui... Produced by Rajesh Bhatia and Kiran Bhatia... Starts June 2019."

On having landed the film, Mouni had earlier told TOI, "I can t believe my fortune that I m getting to work with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. I m anxious about sharing the frame with him. He s immensely talented and what I feel most assured about is that this will be a fantastic learning experience." Nawazuddin too believes she is an apt choice for the role as he was quoted as saying, "Mouni has untapped talent. She believes in experimenting and so is perfect for the role."

And even Shamas believed this strongly when he zeroed in on Mouni. Once she was on board, Shamas had shared the news with his followers on Instagram. Here's the announcement:
