After bagging his second hit with Mr Majnu, Akhil Akkineni will now team up with director Bhaskar who shot to fame with Bommarillu starring Siddharth and Genelia D' Souza. The Film was officially launched today in Hyderabad and pictures from the event are going viral on social media. The launch of the film was graced by Akhil's father Akkineni Nagarjuna along with mother Amala and director Venky Atluri. The film is yet to be titled and is currently being referred to as Akhil 4. This film will be bankrolled by Allu Arvind under the banner GA2 Pictures. The makers are yet to reveal details about the film like leading lady and rest of the cast of the film. Fans of the Akkineni family will expect the film to be a complete entertainer since Bhaskar is known for making films in that genre. Check out the pictures right here:

Akhil was last seen in Mr Majnu which was directed by Venky Aturi. The film was a romantic saga and starred Nidhhi Agerwal in the other lead role. Mr Majnu was decent success at the box office and shaped up Akhil's career pretty well.

Speaking about Bhaskar, the filmmaker has been out of action for a while now. Bhaskar last directed 2013 release Ongole Githa in Telugu which starred Ram Pothineni and Kriti Kharbanda. The film was an average affair at the box office. In Tamil, Bhaskar last directed by Bangalore Natkal which was an official remake of Malayalam Bangalore Days. Bhaskar's directorial featured Arya, Bobby Simha, Sri Divya, Rana Daggubati, Raai Laxmi, Parvathy and Samantha Akkineni.
