Tamil Film Producers Council (TPFC) has filed a police complaint against actor Bobby Simha for giving trouble to the makers of Agni Deva. In the complaint, the producers and directors have mentioned that Bobby has given false complaints against them by saying that they used his body double in the film without his consent.

The director and producer of the film John Paulraj said that due to differences between him and Bobby, the actor left the film midway and he had no other option but to complete the film, with the available footage. SS Durai, the general secretary of TFPC said: Bobby has been asked to withdraw the complaints. He has agreed to do it and has been given two days to do so. If he fails to do it, we will be forced to take punitive action on him. The film was released last week and received poor response at the box office due to controversies.

Talking about the film, the Agnidev also starred Roja actress Madhoo and Remya Nambeessan in key roles. The TPFC has asked Bobby Simha to give a complete explanation and if he fails to do that, they will give him red card, post which he will not be allowed to work in the industry.
