Karan Johar hosted a fab party for his mom, Hiroo who celebrates her birthday today. The function was held at Bandra's hotspot Hakassan, which is one of Mumbai's top restaurants. Karan was present personally attending to the guests. Many of Hiroo's close friends like Sunita Kapoor, Rima Jain, Shobha Kapoor, Karuna (Laali) Dhawan, Jaya Bachchan, Neela Devi made it for the occasion. Dressed in a green salwar kameez, the lady looked all prim and proper as she cut the cake. In a video, she can be heard screaming at Karan and it's just like how every mom. It is damn cute as Karan leaves everything else to attend to her. All the guests got return gifts. Karan's good friend Natasha Poonawalla was also present for the function.

In the video, we can hear Hiroo thanking everyone for their presence at the do. Karan, jokingly says that they should celebrate every alternate year. Hearing this, the ladies demand that the birthday party be held twice a year.

Karan also took to social media to wish the big love of his life, his mama. The filmmaker is unabashedly a mamma's boy and makes sure her birthday is celebrated with great pomp every year.

Karan Johar rang in her birthday with a small intimate bash at his home. It was attended by Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji. Her 75th birthday was a grand one with the likes of Kajol, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Sidharth Malhotra, Tanisha Mukerji, Manish Malhotra and Shweta Bachchan Nanda in attendance.
