Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Strike is doing amazing business at the Box Office. Since its release, it has been unstoppable. In fact, soon it will become the highest grossing Film in the category of medium budget movies. This is Vicky's first superhit as a central character in a film. It has, as of now, earned Rs 128.59 crore and by doing so, it has left Raazi behind. The latter too had Vicky in a crucial role. Now, the film has set its eyes on Rajkummar Rao's horror comedy Stree which had earned Rs 129.90 crore which it is expected to cross by today. By this weekend, it will even go past Ayushmann Khurrana's Badhaai Ho. There is no stopping this film.

Speaking about the film's success, Vicky revealed to a daily, "Uri crossed the benchmark that every film is vying for. In fact, the film fared better over the second weekend. Fans have been sending us videos of people reacting to different scenes - it is overwhelming to see them clapping and hooting. A hero cannot make a film hit. Movies are made with team effort. I credit Aditya [Dhar, director] and Ronnie Screwvala [producer] for their conviction. A film can turn an actor into a star, but a star can't guarantee a great film on his own."
