After sharing the first looks of Kangana Ranaut, Ankita Lokhande, Atul Kulkarni and Jisshu Sengupta, the makers of Manikarnika - The Queen of Jhansi have unveiled the look of Danny Denzongpa who plays the role of Ghulam Ghaus Khan. He was an Indian freedom fighter belonging to the Khatar Khan family. He was a senapati to Rani Laxmi Bai and she fondly called him Ghaus Baba . He was not only the main cannon fighter in her army, but also a father figure and an advisor to Jhansi ki Rani. It will be interesting to see Danny and Kangana s camaraderie on screen. Kamal Jain, who is producing the film that is backed by Zee Studios and releases on January 25, said to DNA, Danny was our first choice for the part of Ghaus Khan. We didn t even need to approach anyone else. He suits the character perfectly and has given a fabulous performance. In the first look, we see Danny riding a horse and looking fierce amidst the hustle and bustle seen in the background.

Earlier, speaking about the film, Kangana had said, "Our film is on a huge scale so there are lots of VFX involved in the film but now by the grace of God, our deadlines are under control. It's an amazing experience. After January 25, I will be very happy to sort of take a little break and go somewhere because I have been working so long on this film."

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi also stars Ankita Lokhande, Atul Kulkarni, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Suresh Oberoi and Jisshu Sengupta in key roles. It is directed by Krish and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain and Nishant Pitti. The film is scheduled to be released on January 25.
