In Tamil, Nayanthara starrer Imaikka Nodigal, Vikram Prabhu starrer 60 Vayadu Maaniram and Aaruthra hit the screens and we all know which one would be in the leading race. In Telugu, Paper Boy and Narthanasala hit the screens and both have had below average collections at the ticket window. Let’s take a quick look at the box office report for this week.
This Nayanthara starrer crime thriller faced a lot of financial hiccups to hit the screens before finally arriving on Thursday evening. And since the first official shows on Thursday, Imaikka Nodigal has been witnessing thundering response. According to trade reports, the first day of Imaikka Nodigal in Chennai witnessed a collection of Rs.11 lakh and since it was just the evening shows. The film is expected to rake in more since it has been receiving rave reviews from all around.

60 Vayadu Maaniram:
This Vikram Prabhu starrer drama hit the screens on Friday, August 31st, 2018 but had a dull opening. Directed by Radha Mohan, the film also stars Prakash Raj playing an important role while Samuthirakani will be seen playing a key role. The first day of 60 Vayadu Maaniram in Chennai witnessed a collection of approximately Rs.19 lakh, according to reports. However, experts predict that it may go up over the weekend.

This rom-com stars Santosh Sobhan and Riya Suman in the lead roles and is directed by Jayashankar. The film had received a huge pre-release hype but could not live up to the expectations. The first day of release was way below expectations and just in Hyderabad, it was approximately, Rs.12 lakh, reports reveal.
A lot was expected from this Naga Shourya starrer who scored a hit in his previous film, Chalo. Narthanasala is said to be a another rom-com released this week but the film couldn’t impress the. Audience. Besides receiving poor reviews, the film couldn’t collect much too. The first two days of Narthanasala witnessed the film earn approximately Rs.10 lakh and experts feel that there is no sign of improvement over the weekend.
