A lot of Bollywood stars have been acting in a lot of South Indian films, which has helped them broaden their fan-following. And the latest to get added to that list is veteran actor, Naseeruddin Shah. According to latest reports, he will be seen in a Prakash Devaraj Film, which may go on floors some time during the end of this year. Reports also reveal that the director, Prakash, narrated the script to Naseerudin Shah in Mumbai and the veteran actor instantly agreed to be a part of it. It is also being said that Naseeruddin Shah was highly impressed with his role.

This yet-untitled film will be Naseeruddin Shah’s second film in Tamil, what with him having previously been a part of Kamal Haasan-starrer, Hey Ram. Naseerudin played the role of Mahatma Gandhi in Hey Ram, for which he received rave reviews. Prakash Devaraj will also mark his debut as a director with this film. Sources reveal that the makers are on the lookout for the rest of the cast in the film. The Tamil film circle is abuzz with news that the makers may look to rope in another senior Tamil actor, which will only further boost the film.

Naseeruddin Shah was last seen in Aiyaary, earlier this year.
