The state of Kerala is reeling under the devastating effects of floods and landslides. Heavy rains continue and the situation is being constantly reviewed in consultation with the state government. The death toll rose to 115 and a red alert has been sounded in all the 14 districts of the state. The public transport system has collapsed in many parts and the situation is deteriorating with incessant rains.

The citizens of Kerala are in desperate need of help and it is a time when the citizens of India are making collective efforts to help and make the situation better. Among them are quite a few celebrities from B-Town and the South film industry who have pledged a donation to the relief fund. They are also urging their followers to make donations, and sharing helpline numbers, and other relevant information through social media. Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Dia Mirza, Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor and many more celebs urged to help.
