Sarabhai vs Sarabhai

This show is iconic in itself. You can never get over of the jokes from this show. The sweet and cute bickering among the members of the Sarabhai family is always a treat to watch. While everyone had a typical character to play, Rita Bhaduri was seen as Ilaben. While her husband had a hearing disorder, her way of tackling the situation was so relatable and evoked fun at the same time.

Nimki Mukhiya

This was her last show. The actress played the role of Babbu’s (Abhishek Sharma) grandmother. It featured woman empowerment and how a girl becomes the head of a village. With all the twists and turns, Rita Bhaduri’s role was a treat to watch. From her intense dialogues to her power-packed performance, this show will always be remembered as her last project.

Choti Bahu

While the show focused on the love saga of Radhika (Rubina Dilaik) and Dev (Avinash Sachdev), Rita’s role as Dev’s Dadi Maa was remarkable. She played a pivotal role in bringing the lovebirds together. Being a devotee of Krishna, her role played an important part as she taught the ideals and teachings of God. She was one of the integral parts of the show and the love story would have been incomplete without her contribution.

Kumkum

Rita Bhaduri played the role of Rajeshwari Harshwardhan Wadhwa. This family drama was one of the most watched shows then and the actress bagged many accolades for her role. Rita stunned us with the motherly role and also made us gush over when she became the strict head of the family. People can never forget how she portrayed a caring grandmother of the family.

Khichdi

The actress played the role of Hemlata Seth in this iconic sitcom. As the name of the show suggests, this daily soap was a complete package of laughter dose. Rita joined the group and tickled everyone’s funny bone. We can never forget how flawlessly she cracked the jokes and we started laughing instantly.
