The actress has been picky about her roles and refrained from playing regressive characters. She is currently gearing up for her Bollywood debut opposite Jackky Bhagnani in the Hindi remake of the National Award winning Telugu film, Pelli Choopulu. The actress was rumoured to be dating her co-star, but she rubbished all rumours and said, “Not true at all. Jackky and me are co-stars. We just finished working on a film. That’s it.”
