Rajinikanth’s latest outing Kaala is turning out to be a huge money-spinner at the box office. The Tamil gangster drama is not only performing well in the domestic market but also in the international ticket windows. The film has already crossed $ 1 million mark at the USA box office. It currently stands with the total of Rs 6.83 crore there. Kaala has now become the fourth film of Rajinikanth to achieve this feat after Endhiran, Lingaa and Kabali.

Apart from America, the film is also doing well in the markets of Australia and Russia. Directed by Pa Ranjith, “Kaala” also stars Nana Patekar, Eswari Rao, Samuthirakani,Huma Qureshi, Sampath Raj, Sayaji Shinde, Anjali Patil, Manikandan, Dileepan, Pankaj Tripathi, Ravi Kale, Ramesh Thilak, Arul Doss, Aravind Akash, Sakshi Agarwal, Arundhati, Suganya and Nithish. Kaala is produced by Rajinikanth’s son-in-law Dhanush K Raja under the banner of Wunderbar Films along with Lyca Productions.  The music of the film is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Kaala marks the second collaboration between director Pa. Ranjith and actor Rajinikanth after Kabali. Apart from Tamil, the film is simultaneously released in Telugu and Hindi dubbed versions.
