It’s the night of the pre-wedding ceremonies of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja. Like all Bollywood weddings, this one too has been the talk of the town for quite some time. As the evening progressed, we saw a bevy of stars descending at Sunteck Signature Island in BKC where the mehendi and sangeet ceremonies of Sonam and Anand are going on. While we brought you all the pictures of the who’s who attending the celebration, we also gave you a glimpse of the various inside videos where the family and guests are making merry before the big day. We saw how the bride’s father Anil Kapoor danced like there’s no tomorrow with his closest pals. We even saw the bride and the groom dance to their heart’s content before they finally tie the knot tomorrow. Amidst all this Shilpa Shetty recorded Sonam’s Chooda ceremony and we can’t thank her enough for sharing it on her Instagram account.

In the video, we see a rather demure side of Sonam Kapoor. The Veere Di Wedding actress is sitting coyly on the seat as the Chooda is being tied on her wrists. As Shilpa shoots the video, Sonam blushes and looks away, not looking at the camera another time. How endearing a sight it is. “Chooda ceremony.. For the uninitiated, Chooda is a set of 21 bangles in red and ivory colours. The bride-to-be is gifted a set of Chooda by the maternal uncle, and this ceremony is one of the most significant rituals in a Punjabi wedding. The bride cannot see her chooda until the wedding rituals are over and hence her hands are covered with a cloth once the chooda is on her hands.
