We have showcased some of TV’s biggest fashionistas in our #WomencrushWednesday segment but the lady we have this time is effortlessly pretty and clearly does not believe in vanity. This makes her hundred times more adorable and relatable. We are talking about the Ishqbaaaz beauty Surbhi Chandna who is the total opposite of a fashionista. She rarely posts full-length profile pics, takes a little effort only for special occasions and does not flaunt clothes, makeup, shoes, etc on her Instagram. It can be a tad boring for some, but we love a gal who is just like us, and is perfectly cool about posting makeup free selfies. In a profession where you are judged on basis of what you wear, it takes guts and a huge amount of self-confidence to go against the tide. This is in total contrast to her onscreen presence. As Anika, she wears some of the coolest outfits despite being a bahu. We have gushed over her backless/strappy blouses, cold-shoulder tops, appliqued tops, quaint bracelets/chockers and fusion outfits in the boldest of colours. She has often said that her only contribution towards her Ishqbaaaz look is by keeping fit to don those sexy clothes. Ishqbaaaz is the most stylish show in India and maybe that’s why she keeps it simple in real life.
