Avengers: Infinity War Will Be Humorous, Reveals Director Joe Russo

Marvel has always been applauded for giving a comical twist to their otherwise serious superhero movies. No one ever imagined a movie that’s so high on action and drama, to have a comedy element to it. But the way MCU’s directors, be it Jon Favreau, Taika Watiti and even Joe and Anthony Russo, have incorporated comedy into their story line deserves a huge loud and cheer. Avengers: Infinity War, that’s barely few days away from its release, too, has  certain comical elements in it, revealed director Joe Russo. The director duo, who have earlier directed movies like Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War came on board for the biggest crossover event in the history of cinema and fans have some high hopes pinned on them. While the Captain America movies were always on a serious side considering Cap – Chris Evans is extremely serious guy and doesn’t like joking around, Infinity War will be slightly different from it. In one of his recent interactions when Joe Russo was asked if the new Avengers movie would be similar to other Marvel movies, he said, “Avengers: Infinity War will have more humour than The Winter Soldier and Civil War. The tone of the Cap movies is a little bit more serious [than Infinity War].” Also Read: Avengers: Infinity War – Sebastian Stan reveals some interesting cameos and we can’t keep calm

Talking about the sequel to Infinity War that releases next year, director Joe and Anthony Russo had revealed how they both are two different genres. For the ones who really follow Avengers: Infinity War or anything remotely related to them, would know that the April release won’t be the final nail in the coffin. It will be followed by Avengers 4. But the sequel won’t be anywhere related to this original movie. “Scriptwriters Markus and McFeely, who have been involved with the MCU since 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger, both say that Infinity War and Avengers 4 will stand on their own as “distinct” films. They are very different. They nearly feel like two different genres,” McFeely said. Joining his belief,  Markus added. “They are two very different kinds of movies. Tonally and structurally.” Robert Downey Junior agreed with the scriptwriters by saying, “The fact that they could break these two stories and make them as different as they are is, to me, the single greatest story [I’ve read].”
