In the bizarre world of fashion, going wrong is quite easy. While there are days when you are at your fashion best, there are times when you fail to strike a chord. Fashion culprits sometimes make you wonder as to what were they thinking. But then again, everyone has a bad day in their life and there isn’t much that you can do about it. No one loves to hear bitter words; especially not for their styling. Yet there are times when Bollywood divas fail to impress the fashion pundits and face severe criticism. Joining the list of worst dressed celebs this week are some very popular faces like Karisma Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Kajal Aggarwal, Parineeti Chopra and Patralekha. Let’s elaborate on where they went wrong and how.

Parineeti Chopra

Pairing a brown striped Zara shirt with a matching Madisson on Peddar skirt, Parineeti Chopra left us wondering as to what was wrong with her. The style looks outdated and it’s not doing much to flatter her otherwise svelte figure. Guess it’s the skirt that is killing her entire look and she should have replaced it with something more subtle and chic.

Kajal Aggarwal

Black rarely fails to work on the red carpet but unfortunately Kajal Aggarwal’s latest outing falls in that category. The black Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla creation failed to have any effect on the minds of fashion lovers like us. Karisma Kapoor

Print on print doesn’t always work and Karisma Kapoor is here to show us why. The Hero No 1 actress’ recent ‘Coach’ look was unflattering to say the least. It was too chaotic and had no ‘wow’ element. It’s shocking to see someone like Karisma, whose personal styling is usually bang on, commit such a horrendous blunder. We expect so much better from her.

Taapsee Pannu

Taapsee Pannu is a repeat offender in this category and she should seriously think of either firing her stylist or start giving personal inputs to choices. Taapsee picked a pink Varun Bahl couture dress for her recent red carpet outing and needless to say, it was a huge disappointment. No words can describe it more. Patralekha

Patralekha’s styling for Nanu ki Jaanu promotions otherwise has been consistently chic and extremely stylish, and yet she committed a fashion faux pas that was hard to ignore. The Payal Singhal creation was too boring to cheer up her bubbly persona and the dull colour palette made it look more gloomy. Probably her lipstick shade too could have been lighter.
