The new season of IPL is here and the whole of India will be glued on the cricketing action that comes on the small screen every night. Some of the best players from all over the globe are part of the exciting and exceedingly competitive cricket tournament, which last for nearly two months. This year, we will see some really exciting talent like England’s Ben Stokes, New Zealand’s Colin Munro, Dinesh Karthik, Chris Lynn displaying their top-notch skills for the Indian spectators. The Indian Premier League also binds the country like no other. It has an equal fan following between men and women. Even our TV celebrities will be catching all the action whenever they get the time. Bollywood Life spoke to a few celebs to know who are their favourites…

Shantanu Maheshwari
I don’t know about the hottest cricketer this season (laughs), but well, I am looking Forward to watching Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi on the pitch. They are under 19 players who have got a chance to play in the IPL for the very first time in Kolkata Knight Riders ! Their bowling speed is quite good, and they also did really well in the under 19 World Cup! So I am quite excited to watch them showcase their skills when teamed up with big players of the game! Faisal Khan
Virat Kohli has always been a favourite, so as always I am looking forward to watch him play some great games this season! According to me, he is one of the best and fastest batsmen in the Indian team and the world. He is also the most amazing captain the team has, and so hoping to see some awesome centuries hit by him this IPL!

Keith Sequeira
I am totally looking forward to watch MS.Dhoni play this IPL season. I am quite excited about him getting back with his home team CSK, and captaining them too. I have always been a huge fan of Yuvraj Singh, as according to me, he is definitely one of the strongest guys on the field. He has overcome a lot of odds to make a comeback. He also hits some of the best 6’s which are quite a treat to watch! And I am always going to elated about the fact that he and I share birthdays!

Vivek Dahiya
Chris Gayle has always been the big guy of IPL, hitting some of the best 6’s to watch! And so this year too, I am quite looking forward to watch him crack some great boundaries and score some big centuries! So for me, he definitely is the main guy of the game!
