Varun Dhawan seems to have found a lucky month and that’s September. If we rewind to last year, you might remember the actor had bailed Bollywood out in the month of September when Judwaa 2 released. The date was 29 and now Sui Dhaaga is releasing on September 28 this year. You know what Judwaa 2 did at the box office. The kind of money it earned gave us hope that Bollywood is in right hands. Varun Dhawan has proved again that he alone is enough to get the cash registers ringing. And guess that made the makers choose a similar date for Sui Dhaaga as well. You might say the idea is far fetched… maybe it is but we couldn’t shake off this possibility at all. That’s because Sui Dhaaga was initially scheduled to release on October 2. But the makers have now rescheduled it to September 28. Yes, it can be a coincidence for sure but even if it’s not, the film will surely benefit from the date reshuffle. The Gandhi Jayanti holiday will give it a good boost in collection. It isn’t a Judwaa 2 kind of an entertainer that will get instant reaction but the freshness of the cast will definitely strike a chord with the audience. The first look has already created quite a stir.

Varun plays the role of a tailor and Anushka plays an embroiderer in Sui Dhaaga. They have been prepping for their roles since a few days now. We saw Varun actually stitching clothes while Anushka tried her hands at embroidery. The actors have done their homework to slip into their characters and the impact of that has already been felt here. We are really excited for this film. What about you?
