Karan Johar had a grand birthday bash for his twins, Yash and Roohi. B-town celebs turned up at the Party with their kids to wish the cuties. Though the invitation was not limited to the guests who had kids. Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra were a few bachelor’s attending the bash. But we are here to talk about the one special guest whom we all were looking forward to spotting at the party. Karan Johar’s BFF Kajol. But the actress did to turn up.

A MidDay report says that Kajol was busy shooting for her next film Eela. The report also suggests that the actress was so neck-deep in work that she could not make it to the party even for a short while. We have to see how she makes up for this to Karan, Yash and Roohi. Well, let us go over the history she shares with KJo. It is very recently when Kajol and Karan have rekindled their friendship after having a huge public fallout in 2016. Karan’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Kajol’s hubby Ajay Devgn’s directorial venture Shivaay clashed at the box office but not before the two parties clashed with each other in a war of words. After Ajay accused Karan of spreading negative publicity around his film, Kajol backed her hubby up. Karan then went on to declare that his friendship with Kajol has ended and it was even a topic in his biography, An Unsuitable Boy. But after a year of sabbatical from each other, Kajol invited her ex-friend to her birthday party and he turned up. They hugged it out. Not to forget Kajol was one of the first people Karan informed about the birth of his twins. Well, cut to a year later again, and we learn that Kajol has skipped a party so important for Karan. She has a very legit reason though.
