Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi slapped with plagiarism charges by T-Series

Rumours are rife that Pawan Kalyan‘s long-awaited Film, Agnyaathavaasi, is inspired by a French film, Largo Winch, which is 2008 film about a billionaire’s adopted son avenging his father’s death. T-Series, who is the owner of the official remake rights, has demanded an explanation from the Telugu filmmakers about it. While the first look teaser of the film garnered a great response, according to reports, it had immense similarities with the French film and thus plagiarism claims are obvious.

Now, T-Series, that holds the official remake rights, has put out a legal notice to the filmmakers, seeking an explanation about the plagiarism. As the film is gearing up for a release soon, it is definitely bad news for the makers. However, Largo Winch’s director, Jerome Salle, has heard the news and is eager to watch Agnyaathavaasi. He took to Twitter to express this thought and wrote, “I think I’m gonna buy a ticket (plane first than movie) #Curiosity #Agnyaathavaasi #LargoWinch” (Also Read: Agnyaathavaasi teaser: Pawan Kalyan’s action and style speak louder than words; watch video)
