Despite Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai dominating the box office, Fukrey Returns has managed to survive well in its third week. The buddy comedy raked in Rs 34 lakhs yesterday and currently stands with the grand total of Rs 77.40 crore. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the collections on his Twitter handle, “#FukreyReturns [Week 3] Fri 40 lakhs, Sat 62 lakhs, Sun 79 lakhs, Mon 71 lakhs, Tue 37 lakhs, Wed 36 lakhs, Thu 34 lakhs. Made on the moderate budget of Rs 22 crores, Fukrey Returns has become one of the most profitable ventures of this year. The film which features the ensemble cast of Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma, Priya Anand, Vishakha Singh, Pankaj Tripathi and Richa Chadha has managed to impress the audience and critics with its bang on comic timing. The film has joined the success of likes of Judwaa, Housefull, Golmaal as one of the most successful franchises in the comedy space. Speaking about this Richa said,”I am really thrilled. The team is overjoyed. I am happiest for my director Mrig because he deserves this.
