The recently held 17th Indian Television Academy Awards brought together popular faces from all across telly town. Jennifer Winget, Nakuul Mehta, Mouni Roy, Vivian Dsena, Arjun Bijlani, Rubina Dilaik, Shrenu Parikh, Surbhi Chandna, Mansi Srivastava, Kanchi Singh, Rohan Mehra, Avika Gor, Kishwer Merchant, Ravi Dubey, Ekta Kapoor attended the event amongst others. Hosted by Manish Paul and Ali Asgar, the awards ceremony saw some of the most amazing dance performances and gigs.

In a latest video shared by Colors, Asgar is seen mimicking the czarina of television – Miss Ekta Kapoor and while he has obviously nailed it, it’s Ekta‘s reaction that left us in splits. We can totally tell from her expressions that she  didn’t see this coming. In the video, Ek-Thi Kapoor (Ali Asgar) calls a director and asks him to take the shot only after she says ‘action.’ The alpha woman later threatens to fire him if her instructions are not followed. She is also seen offering job to ‘loser’ Manish.

Ekta later poked fun at Ali by saying, ‘Acha huya aap Anu Ji ke show mein hai, warna mere show mein hote toh aap replace ho jaate. (You should be glad that you are in Anu Malik’s show. Had you been in my show, you’d had been replaced by now)’ We are sure it was all said and done in good humour.

I &B Minister, Smriti Irani also graced the occasion. She spent some quality time with her old friend Ekta Kapoor. She also posted a selfie with her on her Instagram account and wrote, ‘#awards #night #backtothefuture here we go’
